(2005-06-30) Yahoo Social Search

Yahoo's My Web Social Search model is in open beta.

It smells to me like we're about to re-heat the war on data formats for Social Software, because things need to start shifting from vertical features to integration across those features based at least on Open Format-s, and maybe on API-s also. (Because I don't really intend to join Yahoo360 just for the sake of setting up My Web. Paul Kedrosky feels the same way.) So is this going to happen via RDF/FOAF, or RSS/OPML?
