Open Source RDF Schema-based Repository and Querying facility - Data Store

A generic API for RDF (Schema) repositories know as RDF SAIL (Storage And Inference Layer) is used to abstract from the actual storage device.

Written in Java.

Storage in PostgreSQL, MySQL and Oracle databases is supported, support for DB2 and Poet are under development. A very fast main-memory implementation is available but has no support for RDF Model Theory inferencing yet (so purely storage of RDF triples).

Sesame can communicate over/using HTTP, Java RMI and SOAP.
