Phil Windley
Phillip J. Windley, Ph.D. s a Principal Engineeer and leads Enablement Engineering in the Office of Information Technology at Brigham Young University where he is responsible for developing university technology strategies and leading efforts to achieve them. Dr. Windley also directs a laboratory, Pico Labs, of full time and student researchers at BYU. Pico Labs creates Internet of Things technology aimed at creating connected devices that are as distributed and decentralized as possible. Was CIO for the state of Utah (where my sister lives), until Dec'2002. Resignation was based on "scandal" involving hiring techies outside the "proper" state systems. Good or bad?
