This process was challenged in the courts by the Direct Marketing Association and the American Teleservices Association. Shame on you! I can't believe the Colorado District Court treated this as a First Amendment right for companies. The government wasn't saying they couldn't call anybody, it was letting people say they didn't want to receive the calls.

Why not a Do Not Email registry to end the SpamWars?
