Axiom Time Charging System
Clients, projects (matters), and attorneys billing to them.
Administrative interface defined clients and matters, and defined which attorneys could charge to which matters.
Attorneys would enter time-charges each day (in theory). They would only be able to pick from the matters to which they had been assigned. When ready they would Submit their open charges for review.
An administrator would review all Submitted charges for basic typos or values that didn't make sense (80 hours, 0.1 hours, etc.). A charge could be kicked back, with an admin comment attached. The attorney would see such charges upon his next session. The administrator would then Approve appropriate charges.
Periodically the administrator would pick an Export function. This was designed to output data in a format consistent with the QuickBooks timer format, because we never got big enough to buy a "real" Accounting System.
