The Internet lowers the barrier for electronic connection between people at a distance. This is a key force in the growth of the Network Economy and SmallWorld.
But physical goods won't be coming from the tubes for awhile yet.
So maybe "LocalWorld" represents the SmallWorld you build/find within a short distance. F2F in the Real World. (Hint, the Internet can still play a role: Location.)
